Hello world ๐Ÿ‘‹๐ŸŒ

— 4 min

โ€œHello worldโ€ is the first expression a developer types when creating a new project; at first, it is only used to confirm the development environment is working correctly. However, throughout a projectโ€™s development lifecycle, this simple expression gradually evolves until it becomes something huge, a milestone achieved, or a finished product.

Without going any further, I believe this Blog is a perfect match for that analogy; at its starting point (as I write these words), it is a simple project with a โ€œHello worldโ€ inside, but over time it can become a very important part of a much more complex story.

๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ Who am I?

As you can check on the main page of this website, Iโ€™m Josรฉ Marรญa Rosendo Bienvenido and I work in software development. I love everything related to technology and, from now on, Iโ€™m going to create content about experiences, learnings, knowledge, and curiosities that come up in my day-to-day life.

๐Ÿ“ What is this Blog about?

Mainly, and to put all cards on the table, I am not a writer. I donโ€™t write magazine articles, and I have never sat down to write a book (yet). But that doesnโ€™t mean I canโ€™t entertain you or share some of my knowledge when the time comes.

My posts will naturally be strongly shaped by my personal interests, since most of them will be related to technology, programming, or electronics. However, I will also share everyday experiences, tips and tricks on how to do X thing on a normal day, personal opinions on some topics, etc.

In short, donโ€™t expect every story I publish to be highly technical like Three simple steps to understand recursion in programming (โ“). Although there will be some of that around here too ๐Ÿ˜.

๐Ÿค” Why a Blog?

I believe personal branding is one of the most important attributes of a professional on the internet. Therefore, I think a Blog is the first logical step to start building that โ€œbrandโ€ that will define me in the future.

The following quote perfectly reflects another of the main reasons why I think it makes sense to have my own Blog:

If you canโ€™t explain it simply, you donโ€™t understand it well enough.

โ€” Albert Einstein

This quote has stayed with me since the first time I heard it, and it helped me understand how important it is to express ideas clearly. Keeping this in mind, whenever I gain new knowledge, I like talking about it with someone; as long as I can help them understand a little of what I learned, Iโ€™ll know Iโ€™ve properly internalized all concepts.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Where else can you find me?

Of course, you have all my social media listed on the main page of this website, but here are some in case you want to check them out:

๐Ÿ“… How often do I publish?

Slow and steady, I always prioritize quality over quantity because I prefer a few lines that stay burned into my readersโ€™ memory over a constant barrage of messages with no value. Following this premise, I planned a โ€œweekly menuโ€ that includes:

  • [At least] one technical post about programming. Perfect for beginners looking to gain new knowledge, or for experienced programmers who want to spend some time reading about what they like most.
  • [At least] one post about my day-to-day life as someone living under the influence of new technologies and social networks. Great to disconnect for a while, find reflections you may have never considered, or simply get to know me a bit more.

If Iโ€™m not mistaken, thatโ€™s everything for this post. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠMy Blog is officially open!๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰. Remember that on the main page of this website you can find a direct contact form to reach me. If you feel you need something more โ€œpersonal,โ€ you can write to me on any of my social networks. See you in my next post!
